Cold Creek

Hello Mike. It's a nice stream! I felt like tying flies, though I haven't gone fishing for several years. Thank you very much for the exciting photos which make me happy.  :-) -- Tatata 01:07, 26 July 2007 (EDT)

Images without a license will be subject to deletion

Hello Mike!

Now I'm cleaning up {{dont know}} tagged images on shared: [1]. So could I ask you to put a license tag on your untagged images[2] and remove {{dont know}} tag from them? Otherwise we'll have to delete them... Thanks! -- Tatata 09:48, 15 August 2007 (EDT)

Hi!
Would you tag a license to Image:Cleveland from lakefront 2.jpg and remove {{dont know}} tag from it? Thanks. -- Tatata 23:07, 4 September 2007 (EDT)

Votes for deletion

Hello!

Thank you for the image you've uploaded[3]. But I had to add it to Votes for deletion page, because it is a duplication on shared:.

You can vote to keep the image within 14 days counting from the date of the deletion nomination, if you have a good reason.

Thanks. -- Tatata 23:08, 20 August 2007 (EDT)

Re:Image:Appalachian Trail Map copy.jpg

My browser give me a message that Image file "http://wikitravel.org/upload/shared/f/f8/Appalachian_Trail_Map_copy.jpg" is broken. Though I'm not sure, I guess there was an error in the transfer from pc to server, so I think you did not wrong at all. Would you try to upload again with other "Destination filename"? If it is success, I'll download/re-upload as a new version of Image:Appalachian Trail Map copy.jpg and delete the file uploaded with other "Destination filename". -- Tatata 12:58, 30 October 2007 (EDT)

  • Still does not show. 2old 15:46, 30 October 2007 (EDT)
I still can't see images of the files on WT shared. Though I had not thought of that last night, I could download both files this morning by clicking "Save Link As...". And I tried to change file format from JPEG to PNG; Image:Appalachian Trail Map copy.png (simply saved as PNG by GIMP, 2.61MB) and Image:Appalachian Trail Map 2.png (reduced the number of colors used, 589KB). After all, I have no answer why WT shared can't show the JPEG format files. Please let me know which you use on articles, I'll dispose of the rest. -- Tatata 22:37, 30 October 2007 (EDT)
Thank you!!! I used Image:Appalachian Trail Map copy.png, please dispose of others. 2old 09:41, 31 October 2007 (EDT)

Re:Question

Hi Mike,

I looked the two photos. Those are, different from other photos, not having background (picture frame/wall of museum). So someone may say "it's a reproduction", but I myself can't decide to do a speedy deletion. How about to ask on the pub or vfd page, or just wait a little longer and see what happens? -- Tatata 22:12, 21 December 2007 (EST)

  • OK, it should be interesting, I really do not want to misrepresent anything, but it was an exhibit and they are cropped. So, I guess we will wait and see. I do not know if you celebrate Christmas, but if you do, I wish you a Merry Christmas and if you do not, still have a Merry Christmas. Mike 2old 09:30, 22 December 2007 (EST)
Thanks. Many people celebrate Christmas in Japan and I like the Christmas season though I'm not a Christian. Merry Christmas! -- Tatata 02:13, 24 December 2007 (EST)

Re: Your Photos
