Xianyang

Xianyang (咸阳; Xiányáng) is a city in Shaanxi Province.

Xian International Airport is actually in Xianyang, not Xian. Less than 30 minutes by taxi. There are also shuttles.

Xianyang Train Station- Trains leave for and arrive from all over the country everyday. Near the city centre. 20 minutes to Xian city centre.

High Speed Train- From Beijing and other closer cities.

Subway- The Xian subway system comes most of the way to Xianyang (Houweizhai Station 后卫寨地铁站), need to take another 15 minute bus （Number 13）to get into Xianyang city.

• Great Buddha Temple Grottoes (大佛寺石窟 Dàfósì shíkū) - located in Binzhou roughly 135km from Xianyang's train station, these are Buddhist grottoes that were dug from the Northern Wei to Tang dynasties.
• Changling (长陵 Chǎnglíng) - also known as the Han Gaozu Mausoleum (汉高祖陵寝 Hàn Gāozǔ língqǐn), located here are two burial mounds of the first emperor of the Han Dynasty, Han Gaozu, and his empress Lu Wei. If not for the sign, just looking at them you would think they are just two ordinary hills. Located in Weicheng District, roughly 23km from the urban area.

The biggest night club is in the city centre- 夜蒲

When the weather is warm- March to October- you can drink beer and eat BBQ on the side of the road.

KTV- Karaoke Bars are all over the city the main road- Ren Min Lu has heaps.

Cafes too are all over the place with lots near The People's Square 人民广场, Jia Hui 嘉惠, on Yong Sui Jie 永绥街 and Bei Men Kou 北门口
