Get in
By car
Veenendaal is easily reached by car from the A12 (Utrecht - Arnhem). The highway can be quite congested during rush hour (like most highways in the Netherlands).
By train
There are two rail lines crossing Veenendaal.
The main station is Veenendaal-De Klomp, located at the northern edge of the town (2.5 km north of town center). It has a direct connection to Arnhem and Utrecht, with trains leaving several times per hour (except at night). There is a good bus connection to the town center.
The most central station is much smaller; it connects to Utrecht (taking longer than the main line because of smaller stops on the way) and terminates at the other end in Rhenen.
