Veenendaal
Veenendaal is a town in Utrecht. ContentsUnderstandVeenendaal is located at the western side of a shallow but fertile valley, between the Utrechtse Heuvelrug in the west and the southernmost part of the Veluwe (near Wageningen). Get inBy carVeenendaal is easily reached by car from the A12 (Utrecht - Arnhem). The highway can be quite congested during rush hour (like most highways in the Netherlands). By trainThere are two rail lines crossing Veenendaal. The main station is Veenendaal-De Klomp, located at the northern edge of the town (2.5 km north of town center). It has a direct connection to Arnhem and Utrecht, with trains leaving several times per hour (except at night). There is a good bus connection to the town center. The most central station is much smaller; it connects to Utrecht (taking longer than the main line because of smaller stops on the way) and terminates at the other end in Rhenen.
