Welcome to Wikitravel. If you want to specialize your experience you may want to consider editing your preferences. Please take a second to look at our copyleft and policies and guidelines, but feel free to plunge forward and edit some pages. Scanning the Manual of style, especially the article templates, can give you a good idea of how we like articles formatted. If you're new to the whole wiki software look at the wiki markup to get an idea of how to use the wiki markup. thanks for the good work. Ghana deserves to be presented better! I added this morning some bread crump links to Tamale and Cape Coast. It would be perfect if you have a look, in which regions the cities in Ghana are located. Feel free to change the structure. Regards, Jan 12:00, 11 July 2006 (EDT)
I had to take the photo of schoolchildren off the Tamale article because if there are any recognizable people in a photo, our Wikitravel:image policy requires us to have specific permission them for their picture to be used in this travel guide. It's a great photo, but we have to be careful about people's legal right to privacy.
Also, it's important for us to have a record of the license for any photos you contribute. When you upload them, be sure to pick the appropriate option from the pull-down list. If you're not sure which license to use (and you're not copying something that already has a license assigned to it), I'd recommend "Attribution ShareAlike 2.5". - Todd VerBeek 07:58, 21 July 2006 (EDT)
