I am currently the Artistic Director of Human Theatre , Co-artistic Director of Fuse Performance Works and an Associate Director with Zen Zen Zo Physical Theatre . Recent performance, directing and writing credits can be found on LinkedIn or on the Capilano University Theatre Department web page .
Travels: My experience in travel started in 1985 when I was a leader for tour groups to Israel and the (then) USSR. In the 1990s I was as a touring performer and in the early 2000s, a web-based software developer communications designer for a small group of travel agencies and tour operators. I've been contributing off and on to various wiki projects with articles on theatre history, arts/culture and travel/food.
Current Current research is in the field of interdisciplinary and interculteral collaboration; undertaking a Doctoral degree in the Creative Industries in Brisbane, Australia.
Other: Digital phpotography/video editing - getting back into painting (canvas not houses) which I haven't done since college and learning blues guitar.
News: I have been a writer, director and theatre/media artist for most of my professional life. I have also worked in new media, (online communications and design) since 1995. I value my time away from the studio, and look for travel that will recharge my batteries, get the creative juices flowing again and give me some perspective on the place I occupy on this planet, in this short span of time we call a life.
I've started writing a bit down, the frivolous/profound experiences along the way. I have a keen interest in the arts, history, politics and religion, so a lot of my writing and travel experience reflects these interests. As a travel writer, I have a few articles floating around in the creative commons and some work done for clients.

Places I've been
I was born in Calgary and grew up there. Many years later I taught in the University of Lethbridge theatre department for two years.
I have spent more of my life there than anywhere else. I have had the pleasure of seeing quite a bit of this amazing province because I was a touring actor. We performed for schools all over the interior and as far north as the Alaskan panhandle to some communities with no roads, you had to fly in by float plane.

Montreal is a great city, but I recommend getting out and taking a road trip to the many smaller towns, especially down south, near the border of Vermont.

Louisville (or Luh-ville as the locals call it).
Friends of mine used to live in Las Vegas, I visited a few times and had the rare experience of what it is like to actually live in a suburb of Vegas. Since then all my trips have been the normal show/casino/convention type.
I was there once in 1992.
I worked in Buffalo for about a month and a half in 1999. I make trips occasionally to NYC. I have also been in the SITI summer workshop in Saratoga Springs.

Where I'm Goin'.
When I get the time and money-- Spain, Morocco, India and Italy. And I eventually want to hit Egypt, Sudan, Madagascar and South Africa. I figure if I live long enough I have about 25 more years to fit these in before it gets uncomfortable.
