Above all: Be Appropriate && Follow Your Curiosity
Until I was 40, in 1997, international travel seemed like a too expensive, too complicated, too overwhelming thing to do. My wife and the windfall of a trip won through a raffle got me out of the US and over to the UK and northern Europe. That trip taught me the falseness of my fallacies. Since that time I've traveled with my wife, who had been travelling since she was a foreign exhchange student in high school, as frequently as possible.
Our primary interests are food, art, history, and architecture. We use the UNESCO world heritage site list as a guide when choosing travel destinations.
Our travels have taken us to England, Belgium, The Netherlands, Germany, Spain, Italy, China (well, just Beijing), Bali, Argentina, Uruguay, and Mexico. Our first trip of 2015 is to Colombia.
