I had been utilizing and occasionally contributing to Wikipedia. Then, one day, I stumbled upon Wikitravel and found it to be a great idea that appears to be building momentum. Places I've beenI travel a bit throughout the USA year round and have visited most of its larger cities (noticeably absent are the states of Texas, California and Massachusetts). On business trips, I always attempt to go out of my way to see some of the unique local sights. When vacationing, usually with my wife and young children, we either visit relatives throughout the US or hit some of the children-oriented tourist traps.
