Borders and text changes[edit]

I have reverted the changes by IlKirk both for technical reasons and a lack of discussion and consensus here.

The technical reasons are that all pages with stub notes need to be refreshed if this note is changed. It is a high usage template with several thousand uses. Any change to this template must be carefully considered and a change management plan put in place to deal with the inconsistencies that will arise as the new change is rolled out.

However, there has been no discussion about changing the wording either. I want to see a widespread acceptance of new wording before any change is implemented.

>center< tags[edit]

I was doing some debugging on the HTML output of our pages, and the <center> tags on this template and others were screwing up our validation. I took out center here, and I'll try to strip it from the other article status templates. Let me know if you see anything weird with it; from my point of view, stuff still stays centered even after these tags are removed. --Evan 13:33, 21 March 2006 (EST)

I've removed the <center> tags and updated the wording to be similar to that used in Template:Outline. -- Ryan 03:49, 3 April 2006 (EDT)
