I changed back '...accessible for pedestrians', as most shops are! Pedestrianised means that the streets the shops are on don't have vehicle access. Lots of towns and cities in the UK are going this way, which I'm very happy about. Maybe one day, with the increase in Park and Ride, car-filled city centres will be a thing of the past. I don't know if you have pedestrianised town centres, or park and ride in the US: From what I remember (I went there when I was 13) most shops were either ONLY accessible by car, or were in shopping centres. -- Lionfish 14/07/05
