I like the addition of "South Sound" and "North... Sound" as subregions. They make sense. I wonder about the name "Northwest Sound" for Whidbey and Camano Islands. I had thought of them as "Northeast", since Admiralty Inlet is the generally accepted north boundary of Puget Sound, and those islands are east of Admiralty Inlet. Looking at a map, however, the islands are pretty much due north of "South Sound". So how about calling the subregion "North Sound"? BTW I haven't heard these as local names for the areas. Of course if there are local names, they probably are best. JimDeLaHunt 13:32, 12 June 2007 (EDT)

I agree. When I was cleaning stuff up, I think I was thinking Northwest of Seattle but North Sound is more practical. Celticevergreen 00:20, 14 June 2007 (EDT)
