Err. Lake Malawi is the main destination for most travellers to Malawi, and thus makes a pretty good region despite the usual bodies of water rule. Jpatokal 01:24, 9 June 2007 (EDT)
I don't think the lake makes such a good region, since it takes up so much of the country and because of the country's shape... and because the lake destination are so spread out and are the main places people go... it's the same situation as Goa, where "beaches" or "the coast" make a lame region... all of the destinations of note would all be on the same page pretty much Which is fine if they're near each other, but in Malawi's case they're very spread out. Personally I think North, South and Central are a good division... there will be lake and non-lake destinations in each, and most people visiting Malawi will be traveling north to south or the reverse... if you go to the north, you'll see any non-lake and lake destinations at the same time, making sense to have them in the same region... you wouldn't visit all the "lake destinations" first, and then backtrack all over the place to visit other regions. – cacahuate talk 01:32, 10 June 2007 (EDT)
I’d prefer reading in my native language, because my knowledge of your languange is no so well. But it was interesting!
