This article was the Collaboration of the week between 20 Mar 2006 and 26 Mar 2006.

Here's a handy link to an English translation of the Japanese Wikitravel article which seems to have a lot of content:

Here's the Systranbox[1] version as well:

Note: Be careful not to edit the babelfished version by mistake!

This is absolutely hilarious! "11.1 you stay -- Flophouse!" Jpatokal 21:54, 15 Feb 2006 (EST)
Indeed! I love this one: "Walking: If some movement which is while blocking it is possible also to turn with walking. However, because it is very hot country, you pay attention to the hear stroke and the like. You take the moisture mainly, overstrain excessively and walk and in order not to turn, (above thinking, you consume the physical strength)." 22:21, 11 April 2006 (EDT)

External links

Why are these located here and not on the main page? They will be overlooked as people generally will not look at the discussion page.

See Wikitravel:External links. Some of these are OK, but most are not. Jpatokal 01:53, 30 July 2006 (EDT)

To make this is clear as possible: These links are here to help us find information to add to the actual article. This is not part of the guide, and they'll be deleted soon. - Todd VerBeek 18:43, 9 June 2007 (EDT)

Useful site for info

The above is not a government site! Please see,dae_visitors_accommodations,0,&_nfpb=true&_pageLabel=package -- which is run by the Dubai Government.

Surely something about the draconian drug laws that can lead to a jail sentence even if you have a small speck of cannabis on your shoe or have eaten a poppyseed bagel are worth pointing out here. 09:32, 29 February 2008 (EST)

Sorry, Jpatokal but I think your wrong. What part of "Roller Coaster" does not make it clear that this is not a "Merry-Go_Round" ? What makes you think the driver will not stop and give you a break if you do start feeling bad ? (Try that on a roller coaster !) And if you do insist on keeping this "Warning", can you at least word it so it does not sound like a five year old whining ? Woodstock 09:45, 27 March 2008 (EDT)
