I think any definition of "Baltic countries" not limited to Estonia/Latvia/Lithuania is only of historical interest at this point, and WP has come to the same conclusion, so I've taken the liberty of merging these.  We already have [[Northern Europe]] for the wider region. So I resurrected the older version from the History and replaced a redirect to Eastern Europe. I see these countries as a subregion that should have a small article, at least, if only to allow the traveller to find these countries in Wikitravel. -- Huttite 17:49, 5 Feb 2005 (EST)

Made a separate page for Baltic countries and Baltic states to avoid confusion, similarly as with Scandinavia and Nordic Europe.

I think any definition of "Baltic countries" not limited to Estonia/Latvia/Lithuania is only of historical interest at this point, and WP has come to the same conclusion, so I've taken the liberty of merging these.
