I just came from antalya, I stayed in Adonis Hotel, the Hotel was awful, no service no bed covers the bathroom does not work, and the AC is dripping all the time, and they would threaten u if they see u with even a bottle of water from outside the hotel, all of this and it claims to be five stars, u will be fooled by the receiption but the rooms are awful.. Antalay is very hot these days but there is a lot to c, I would visit it in winter next time cause I'm not a big fan of burning under the sun

Afraid to say but this talk of being 'the best you can find in the Mediterranean' is highly overrated. Antalya might have been a pearl until 20 years ago but these days it is a sprawling concrete jungle home to around 1 million of humans and it's still growing unabated with all the fumes and traffic jams that this means. The location is fantastic though and the sights splendid. The Mediterranean is a large geographic feature and there are quite a few places that are much more appealing (even if it this a matter of taste). Don't say that to the very patriotic locals as you will likely offend them.
