The Romanian village Sfântu Gheorghe lies in the far south east corner of the Danube Delta, approximately 1km from the Black Sea coast. In this small and remote village lies a remarkably large cinema-resort, which is home to the Anonimul International Independent Film Festival whihc is held for a month during summertime.

The village is only to be reached with a min. 2 hour river boat trip from Tulcea. The boats only sail once per day. (Out ou Sf. Gheorghe. it leaves at 7 am). One way costs 250.000 Lei. It is not difficult not to pay on the way back.
