Once a independent village, Santo Amaro was incorporated into the city of São Paulo on the first half of the 20th century. The town was divided in several districts that now belong to São Paulo's south zone.

  • Stations Santo Amaro and Largo Treze, line 5 - Purple, and future Adolfo Pinheiro, Alto da Boa Bista and Borba Gato of the same line.
