Sangla is a scenic hill-town in the Baspa Valley, also referred to as the Sangla valley, in the Kinnaur District of the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh, close to the Tibetan border. The valley is surrounded by richly forested slopes and offers delightful views of the high mountains. The nearby Baspa hydel-project is also nearing completion, and the importance of the place is bound to increase.
The best time to visit the beautiful Sangla Valley is in the months between April and May and again September and October. All these months are good for camping.
