Sangla is a scenic hill-town in the Baspa Valley, also referred to as the Sangla valley, in the Kinnaur District of the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh, close to the Tibetan border. The nearby Baspa hydel-project is also nearing completion, and the importance of the place is bound to increase.
