Sagada is a small town in the Mountain Province of Luzon, Philippines. It is famous for its beautiful caves as well as the serene mountains.

Get in

  • From Baguio: several buses a day, starting at 6:00 AM with several trips until 11:00 AM. The ride on a Lizardo Trans bus takes 3 hours 15 minutes and costs 220 pesos.
  • From Bontoc: local jeepneys ply this route throughout the day for 35 pesos.

Get around

  • On foot - explore the beautiful mountains around Sagada.
  • Jeepney - can be hired.



  • Caving - A 2-3 hour tour including a visit of the big cave, the burial cave and the hanging coffins goes for 400 pesos for 1-4 people, 450 pesos for 5, other prices for larger groups. Book at the tourist information counter.
