Rose Valley is a small borough in Delaware County, Pennsylvania, United States.


Rose Valley was founded by William Price in 1901, and was originally created as part of an imagined utopia following the Arts and Crafts movement.

By car

Rose Valley is located south of the county seat of Delaware County, Media, PA. Rose Valley/Manchester Road is the major road into Rose Valley

By train

SEPTA Regional Rail trains (R3 Line) stop at Moylan-Rose Valley Station, located just outside the borough limits to the north.

By plane

Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) [2] is minutes from Rose Valley and is served by taxis and the SEPTA R1 Regional Rail Line.

Get around

Rose Valley has no sidewalks; the easiest option is to use a car.

Media, the county seat of Delaware County is located just to the north Swarthmore, the home of Swarthmore College is located less a few miles to the east and is also accessible by SEPTA's R3 Media/Elwyn Line
