Parping (sometimes spelled "Pharping")is a small village in the Kathmandu Valley of Nepal.

  • Sacred caves associated with Guru Rinpoche, the founder of Tibetan Buddhism.


The closest hotels are in the city of Patan, though the Asura Cave restaurant (located below the Bajra Yogini temple) offers simple accommodation for around 200rs per night.


While there are no large restaurants catering to tourists, the Asura Cave and the Snowland can provide simple meals, and in addition there are dozens of small storefronts offering snacks and sodas.
