Packing for a cruise

Default Banner.jpg

This is a sample list of things you might take on a week-long cruise. It assumes you're going somewhere sunny, but if depending on where you're going, some of the items may not be useful to you, and there are inevitably additional items you'll want to bring along. But this should give you a general idea of what you'll want to pack. (Please keep in mind that we want this list to be useful to people in general, so don't edit it for your own personal needs.)

  • short-sleeved shirts
  • shorts
  • comfortable walking shoes - for excursions ashore
  • formal dress and shoes (women)/suit and dress shoes (men) - most cruises treat at least one dinner of the voyage as a formal affair
  • sandals
  • hankies
  • windbreaker - for cool nights on deck
  • swimsuit

  • empty tote bag - for purchases, souvenirs on the way home
