North Berwick is a town in The Lothians region of Scotland.

Get in

An hourly train service runs to North Berwick from Edinburgh Waverley station, making the journey in approximately 35 minutes.

Get around

North Berwick's attractions are within walking distance of the railway station.


Theres loads of places to see! Theres the bass rock, you can take the SULA(a boat specialised in transport) to go around it, only available in the summer months!!

Theres also North Berwick Law, of course, The Law is the big hill that stands out, its actually an exctinct volcano.

The High Street area has some good shops, but some are quite pricey!!!

The Beaches are lovely to walk along, its nice and peaceful and the view of the Islands are great!


Visit the Scottish Seabird Centre[1] at the harbour. 01620 890202. Open 10-6 in summer. Closes earlier in winter.

Take a boat trip from the harbour to see the world's largest single rock gannet colony on Bass Rock.
