Noble County is in Southeast Ohio. Last formed of Ohio's 88 counties, it was home to the Thorla-McKee Well, the first North American oil producing well, and was the site of the 1925 USS Shenandoah airship disaster. Part of the Wayne National Forest is located in Noble County.
Interstate 77 runs north-south through Noble County.
