Morrison is a small town in Colorado in the foothills west of Denver. Besides its rich paleontological history, Morrison is also home to the outdoor concert venue Red Rocks Amphitheater.
Morrison is roughly located along Colorado State Highway in between I-70 on the north end and US 285 on the south end.

Explore fossils from dinosaurs at the visitor center/gift shop and discovery center (across the street from the west end of the trail). Those exhibits are free (donations accepted). Walk along the 1.5 mile self-guided trail or take the bus tour, which leaves every half hour from 10 to 4. $8 for the guided bus tour (free for children three and under). edit

Concert venue where lots of music artists and bands come to play and you can hear the natural acoustics from the rocks surrounding it. On days when there is not an event, it is free to park and walk around the venue, which includes a visitor center and hall of fame. There are also hike and bike trails. edit
