Middleton (Nova Scotia)

Default Banner.jpg

Middleton is a town in the Annapolis Valley.

Get in

Take Highway 101 from Halifax, or the 'old' Highway 1 for a slower but more scenic drive. As of March 2013, there is no long-distance bus service to Middleton. Kings Transit (a local bus service from Windsor to Digby) does go through Middleton, however.

There are two multi-purpose trails that will take you to Middleton if you're ATVing, snowmobiling, biking, or hiking. The first is the DAR railway trail, roughly following the same path as Highway 1 and Highway 101. The second begins in New Germany and terminates in Middleton.

Heart of the Valley Days

The Capitol Pub is the only drinking establishment in town. It has decent, typical pub food until 9 or 10 (depending on the day).
