Mangalia is a port city and tourist resort in south-eastern Romania.
There are several trains daily between Constanta and Mangalia, going through the resorts on the Black Sea coast. In summer there are direct trains to Mangalia from Bucharest and other major cities in Romania.
There are frequent minibuses and buses on the Constanta - Mangalia route, especially in summer.
Archeology Museum - collection of items dating back from the Greek, Roman and Dacian Eras. Most items were recovered from the ancient city of Callatis - Hellenistic coins, sculptures, ceramics, jewelry, tools, etc... Also includes a library of 1.305 volumes with archeology content. The Museum gives the visitor the chance to observe the spiritual interference between all these ancient civilizations. Opened daily between 08:00 and 20:00
