Lang Tengah (Malay: Lang Tengah) is an island which lies about off the coast of the state Terengganu in Malaysia. Lang Tengah island gets its name because it is located between the Pulau Perhentian and Pulau Redang. The island features clear blue waters and sandy white beaches. There is plenty of fish and coral surrounding the island.
There are no internal roads on Lang Tengah. Tourists can travel around the island by renting a boat, kayak or just by snorkelling. The waters surrounding the island are shallow. Large boats and ferry's are not allowed to dock at the beaches. Tourists must transfer from larger boats unto smaller speed boats to reach the beach.
There are many activities offered on Lang Tengah which include snorkelling and diving. The waters surrounding the island is abundent with coral and small fish. Care should be taken to not disturb the marine life as it is very fragile.
Diving trips are organised by the various resorts on lang tengah. Night diving is also offered. Divers can rent SCUBA equipment from the resorts. Resorts also fill up SCUBA tanks as part of the rental package.
Tourists can only eat at the resorts on Lang Tengah. There are no other restaurants on Lang tengah.
