Lake Nakuru National Park surrounds Lake Nakuru, a soda lake in the Rift Valley region of Kenya.

Lake Nakuru National Park has plains, hills, waterfalls and a big lake which forms a really beautiful landscape in the park.

Flora and Fauna

You can see around 400 species of birds in Lake Nakuru National Park. On a lucky day you can see Lions, Rhinos, Giraffes, Antelopes, Leopards and Cheetahs. You can also find Millions of Pelicans and Flamingos enjoying the fish around the banks of the lake.

Fees/Permits

The entry fee for foreigners is $40. For Kenyan Nationals it is KSH 200. If you are traveling in a van then the driver must have a permit which says he is allowed to drive in the national park. Vehicle permit is necessary to take the vehicle in the park. An additional vehicle fees is required.
