La Mesa Nature Reserve is in Quezon City in the Philippines. It is surrounding the La Mesa Reservoir, which is the source of most of the drinking water of Manila.




Flora and fauna


Get in

The closest landmark is the SM Fairview, which you can get to via bus (direct from Ayala Avenue, Makati CBD) or jeepney. From SM Fairview you can take another bus/jeepney or tricycle to the entrance of the Nature Reserve along Quirino Highway.


General admission for most activities is P200/person, with a minimum of five participants up to maximum of 15. However, this is rather flexible and can be arranged at the park entrance.

Get around



There are several activities that you can do in the nature reserve: trekking/hiking, biking (you need to bring your own bike), trail running and bird watching (bring your own binoculars). The Nature Reserve is open 6am to 5pm daily, including holidays. Closed on the 25th December and the 31st December.

There is no place to buy food at the Nature Reserve, but there is a grocery store and an eatery less than 100m away from the entrance of the Nature Reserve.



There are no sleeping possibilities at the Nature Reserve and camping is not allowed.
