Kythira is in Greece.


Kythira island is located between Peloponnese and Crete, and belongs to the Ionian islands.


The island's capital is the Chora located at the southern edge of the island, the village Potamos is located in the north and has the largest population, also other important villages are the Livadi, Agia Pelagia, Mylopotamos, Kapsali and Karavas.

Other destinations

From Kythira you can easily travel to the Peloponnese, is about 1.30 hours by boat, and to Crete about 4 hours by boat.
