Koh Bon is 47km from the mainland and at least 20km from the next nearest islands, which are also uninhabited. The only way to travel to Koh Bon is on a diving or snorkel boat that offers day trips or liveaboard cruises. There are no public ferries. A speedboat ride from Tab Lamu Pier takes at least one hour.
It is accessible in just 10 minutes by boat from [[Rawai]] or [[Laem Ka]].  You can also charter a longtail from most of Phuket's main beaches.
