Forlì is a city in Emilia-Romagna.
Forlì is connected to quite a few national and international destinations through the L. Ridolfi airport, usually advertised as "Bologna Forlì". Flights to and from Forlì are usually operated by low cost companies (such as Ryanair and Windjet).
The closest major international airpot is Bologna's Guglielmo Marconi (Bologna) International Airport (IATA: BLQ) . To get to Forli will require a bus/taxi to Bologna Central train station then a train to Forli. A taxi from the airport to the Central Station costs about €15. An Aerobus Ticket costs €6, and it stops outside the main terminal building. The final train to forli will cost €6-10 and takes 50-70mins (almost all trains to forli will be listed on the departure board as destined for Ancona)
You don't need to stay safe from anything. It is maybe one of the safest cities in Italy.
In some places throughout the city, as with anywhere on the planet, it is possible to trip and scuff your knee, or maybe sprain an ankle (god forbid!). While in Forli, be sure to never walk with scissors or a knife because accidents can happen. If you do get lost in the city make sure you have ample water on hand because dehydration is never good for anyone. It is actually bad for all things since everything on earth revolves around water. What else, what else....oh, lock your door at night as sometimes when a person has too much vino they might try to walk into the wrong room and that is just awkward.
Bologna: Forli is well-connected to Bologna via railways. It takes around 40 minutes to reach Bologna from Forli by train.
