Eidsvoll is a town in Norway. In every Norwegian patriot's heart for being the site of the signing of the modern Norwegian constitution in 1814, an important step towards full independece from the country's neighbours.
The ancient Viking beer called "mjød" is said to originate from here. The locals still drink it, though nowadays it goes under the name "HB". You don't need to ask twice - most Eidsvollians make this at home (it's technically illegal, but the authorities give it the blind eye - sometimes literally) and nothing makes them happier than to share a HB party with a lost tourist.
