The station in Deauville is Trouville-Deauville.
Deauville can be reached by trains from Paris, Lisieux and Evreux.
From Paris. Trains leave Paris Saint-Lazare station with the destination Trouville-Deauville. Whilst some services are direct Intercités Normandie to Deauville, most journeys will require a change at Lisieux where passengers from the service to Caen or Cherbourg will change and board the TER Normandie train to Deauville. The journey lasts about 2 hours. Prices begin at 33.30€ full price per adult single. Tickets may be as low as 15€ if purchased early. Out of rush hours, tickets cost 22.40€ for persons under 25.
Paris Saint-Lazare is a large station. Platforms are situated on the first floor; two floors above the métro exchange hall. Trains for Deauville are operated by Intercités Normandie and leave from the higher numbered tracks (20 to 27). Grandes Lignes platforms are found to the right of the building as you approach the tracks. Trains are listed by departure hour and show the final stop, trains for Deauville will have the destination Trouville-Deauville. The train's track number (la voie) is not posted until 15-20 minutes before departure, some times as late at 10 minutes prior to departure, do not panic if you arrive earlier than that and don't see your train's platform.
From Normandy. Deauville can be reached by regional trains (TER) from Rouen with a change at Lisieux. Blonville-Bénerville, Villers-sur-Mer, Houlgate and Dives-sur-Mer can be reached from Deauville; a weekend and seasonal service runs from Deauville to Dives-Cabourg.
Tickets may be purchased online at SNCF-voyage, at SNCF shops and on third party ticket websites. Electronic tickets (e-billet) can be kept at PDFs on your smartphone or printed. Tickets purchased from a machine or a ticket counter will need to bare a QR code. Ticket barriers have been installed at Saint-Lazare for intercity services, they are some times left open. If they are closed, put the code on the reader to open the barrier and proceed to your train.
Intercités tickets bought online can be kept as a PDF as they have a QR code. TER tickets bought online must be printed at ticket machines as the emai lconfirmation does not contain a QR code.
From Paris and Rouen. Take the A13, then the A132 at Pont-l'Evêque and finally the D677. To reach the beach, follow the road around left side of the harbour. There are several car parks by the beach.
From Le Havre. Cross the Seine over the Pont de Normandie then either take the D513 through Honfleur and Trouville for the scenic route or the A29, exit at junction 1 and follow the D579 then D74 whilst following signs for Deauville and/or Trouville.
From Caen. Take the D513 through Dives-sur-Mer, you will arrive in Deauville from the West, the beach and casino will be on the left. Both are sign posted as you enter the town.
