Dawson Creek [1] is a small town (11,000 in town, 60,000 in the area) in Northern British Columbia, best known for being mile zero on the Alaska Highway.

Get in

Highway 2 from Grand Prairie/Edmonton, or there's a Greyhound station locates at northwest of downtown.

Get around

There are buses running in Dawson Creek. Local texi are also avalaible.


Mile zero post is what makes Dawson Creek famous, it symbolizes the start point for Alaska highway.


There are a few bars in the city. For shopping, there's a mall next to Safeway.
