Buxton is an ancient spa town in the High Peak area of England. It is in the county of Derbyshire which is classed as part of the East Midlands but the High Peak area is probably more associated with the North West of England.

Buxton is the home of Buxton Spring Water which is sold round the world, but if you are in town make sure you get some free water from the well that is in the center by the Royal Crescent.

There is always something going off at the Opera House from stage productions to fairs.
