Bryan-College Station is in Prairies and Lakes.

Get in

Traveling to Bryan-College Station is almost exclusively done by automobile. There are two more or less major highways that pass either through or near the town, Highway 6 and Highway 21. Highway 6 travels north and south and can be followed to get back to Houston, while going north will take you to Waco. Highway 21 goes east and west, where going east will take you almost all the way to Louisiana and going west will take you to San Marcos.

There is also a small airport that has been known to fly to some major cities like Chicago and Houston, for example.

Get around

Once again this must be done almost exclusively by automobile. There are no taxis, but there buses offered by Texas A&M University. The problem with these buses is that you have to be a student in order to use them.

  • The George H. W. Bush Presidential Library
  • The Texas A&M University Campus - Been around since the 1800s, so it's worth a look
  • Reed Arena - See where the Aggie basketball team plays their home games
  • Kyle Field - See where the Aggie football team plays their home games
  • Olson Field - See where the Aggie baseball team plays their home games

  • Wolf Pen Bowling Alley - Large bowling alley that can be used for a great price
  • Plenty of parks in the area that are plenty of fun for small children
  • Movie theater to see movies

  • Mall
  • Hastings - Rent movies for cheap or buy used movies, games, CDs, and books

  • Fazolis - Cheap Italian food on the go
  • Laynes - Great chicken, but that's it
  • Fuddruckers - Hamburgers and more
