Bomlitz is a municipality in the district of Soltau-Fallingbostel, in Lower Saxony, Germany. It lies on the Lüneburg Heath. It is a heavily wooded area with two rivers, Bomlitz and Warnau, which run through the municipality.
Bomlitz is located in Soltau-Bad Fallingbostel,Luneburg, Niedersachsen, Germany. The drive from Bad Fallingbostel to Soltau is around 9 minutes.
Not far from Bomlitz is the Walsrode Bird Park.  It is one of the largest bird parks in the world. About 4,000 birds of over 700 species live in this park.
