Billund is a city in Denmark.

Billund is situated in Western Denmark and it has some 8700 inhabitants. It's known as the home of LEGO.

Get in

There are two main ways to get there:

By car Billund is situated in the middle of Jutland peninsula, this means that there are roads in every direction. Usually tourists coming from other countries will drive along the E45 motorway. If you are coming from south, drive to Kolding and continue towards Billund. If you are coming from north or east turn to Billund at Vejle.

By plane Billund airport is one of Denmark's biggest airports. The airport is served by many budget- and charter airlines but also by some national carriers like Finnair, Scandinavian and KLM.

Get around



Legoland Most people come to Billund just for one reason; Legoland. It's an amazing amusement park built around the lego toys. In the park there is both attractions and miniatures of famous places in the world.


Many people visiting Legland also buys some lego bricks or something else related to lego.




Legoland village This is a hostel situated near the Legoland park.

Hotel Propellen is a hotel also situated near Legoland and the airport.

Hotel Legoland The amusement park itself has got a hotel as well. This is a bit more expensive alternative, but worth trying if you're traveling with kids.
