Bilaspur is a district in Himachal Pradesh.
Satluj is the main river which passes through the middle of the district and divides it into almost equal parts. The district is mostly hilly and elevation of the lowest point is about 290m and that of the highest is about 1980m.
Nearest railway station is at Kiratpur Sahib (Punjab), which is 64 km from Bilaspur Town.
Daily bus services from Delhi, Chandigarh, all major cities in Punjab, and almost all destinations within Himachal Pradesh. [] Bilaspur is well connected with all other major tourist attractions in Himachal.
Bilaspur has a hidden asset known as Govind Sagar Lake which is actually a water reservior of The Bhakhra Dam 93 kms away. There is an Old Shiv Temple, which is in the water most of the time but comes out in winter when the water is low.
Restaurant at Hotel Neelam and Cafe lake View both in Bilaspur are the best places to eat in the district.
