Bikol is a language spoken by people in the Bicol region on southeastern Luzon in the Philippines. It was highly influenced by the Spanish language.

Pronunciation guide

Vowels

The Bicol language has many dialect branches. The most famous dialects are Legaspeno and Darageno..

This is very easy in vowels but start rehearsing in Difficulties and semi-vowels,because that may be tricky.


  • Aa-as in 'a' in father
  • Ee-as in 'e' in eggplant
  • Ii-as in 'i' in instant
  • Oo-as in 'o' in orange
  • Uu-as in 'u' in ulcer
  • Eu-as in 'i' in cousin

(a semi-vowel) This is only exists in Darageno dialect
