Arlington is a Historic Village nestled between the Taconic Range and the Green Mountains of Vermont. Hugged by the mountains, fed by the pristine waters of the Battenkill River and blessed with unsurpassed natural beauty, ours is a warm and welcoming community.
There is more than one place called '''Arlington''':
Perhaps this warmth and beauty is what inspired artist Norman Rockwell, an Arlington resident from 1939 to 1953, to remark upon moving to his new home on scenic River Road, "Now my pictures grew out of the world around me, the everyday life of my neighbors." That world embodied in Rockwell's work still exists today.
