Amhara is a region of Ethiopia.


The Amhara Region is part of the Ethiopia Historical Circuit and includes the Churches and Monasteries on and around Lake Tana, the Blue Nile Falls, the Royal Enclosure, Fasil Ghebbi with its Palaces and churches, the Fasilides Bathroom, Kuskuam, and the Simien Mountains.
