Hey there. Just to let you know, I saw your email this morning before work, but I can't access my Gmail account from work here. I took care of Cincinatti on the Pt version. And with my Portuguese, well.. I studied on my own for about 4 months before going to Brazil the first time, can't say I was exactly conversational but I could speak some. Part of that was because I studied Spanish in university and the grammar is very similar. Anyway, spent 5 weeks there the first time, loved it, went home and studied a lot more and returned the following year for 3 months. And now I live in a city in Japan where I can speak it every day. Overall it's been about 5 and a half years that I've studied it. I don't know anything much about Polish or its relation to German, etc., but it sounds interesting. Good luck to you! When are you moving there? Texugo 07:36, 24. Mai. 2007 (CEST)
Are there any major stylistic differences between the German and English versions? I don't speak German, so I can only work on stylistic things and things like enforcing the rule of "no more than 9 cities" and removing improper links etc. Anything different here I should be aware of? do you know what are the flag-codes for Croatia (not HR), Portugal (not PT) and Hungary (not HU)? -- Túrelio 15:04, 25. Mai. 2007 (CEST)
Being the Flag-Master, do you know if there is a flag for the UK (code currently not UK, GB or VK) ? -- Túrelio 23:50, 26. Mai. 2007 (CEST)
Hello, Sapphire. You helped my contribution with some stylistic hints. As you can think, I am new at Wikitravel and still in the process of getting an idea what the standard is. The Wikitravel help is quite helpful, but I am missing hints on articles that the Wikitravel community think are stylistically flawless so that they could serve as models. Could you give me some hints? --Stilfehler 17:10, 22. Jun. 2007 (CEST)
I am new as a user, but I am editing WT for quite a while. I wondered how things get deleted without a note these days. Why did you delete parts of the Wikitravel:Stammtisch instead of a comment?
