Archiving Votes for Deletion
I archived all the discussions at Votes for deletion, except "Files uploaded by RIZU" & the last two nominations I made at the end. When attempting to delete the archived discussions from that page, a message appeared that the action could not be done except by an administrator (action identified as harmful). Please delete all the nominations except the 3 I identified. As mentioned, they have already been added to the correct archive page. AHeneen 19:42, 26 January 2013 (EST)
Many thanks for the nice words; appreciate it! Glad you liked my pic.
I'm sorry but I don't know how to add a picture to a Wikitravel article. I'd be thankful if you could help.

Complaint about User Ttcf
I would like to complain about the behaviour of one of the WikiTravel users, Ttcf
At the outset, I'd like to point out that I am a new Wikitravel (Wiki-anything) user, and so am still doing my best to get around the format of the HTML.
I have made a number of contributions to the Wikitravel content in the last month that relate to my business, which is a collective of photographers that offer travellers vacation photos.
One month ago I made an entry about "vacation photography", which was not contested until last night.
Yesterday I made entries in each of the cities where we operate to include details of our business. This is the first time I have done this and so I copied a HTML template from another business entry I saw on the first page I did (the Paris page) and adapted it for each entry.
Last night I received an aggressive email from Ttcf telling me I was "touting" and wrote that he would be casting "his beady little eye" on all my future activities. He deleted every one of my entries on the "narrow basis" that I had not included the correct information (it seems I did not add a physical address and phone number). I was not given the opportunity to correct this data myself.
I feel that Ttcf is unreasonably targeting my contributions. The only reason I seem to have come under Ttcf's scrutiny is that I made multiple entries in one day - this is because we operate in a number of locations, unlike many travel business equivalents (e.g. local tours). I included our business details as many other businesses have done. I treated it in the manner of a Lonely Planet listing, with no sales language and only the facts. The deleted entries were no different to the other business entries listed in the same place that I listed mine - particularly as many entries also lack address or telephone information (I had, however, included price information, hours, etc) I would have been happy to add all the information requested, but Ttcf responded to my unfamiliarity with the WikiTravel site to unilaterally remove every one of my entries.
In respect of the vacation photography entry that he has marked for deletion, I have responded to that in the appropriate forum. Again, Ttcf's assertion that this kind of business represented only a small proportion of travellers is erroneous, and I believe again based on his unreasonable objection to my additions to the city guides yesterday. Further, the fact that he could oppose this type of business supports an argument that vacation photography is a subject that deserves explanation on the WikiTravel site.
Thanks for your time Alex; I hope this is the right place to post my complaint.
Kind regards, UnrulyLouise
