This is cool! Does the template extract the maps from some external source? I'd love to transpose that to pt: but first I'd like to know how it actually works. -- Ricardo (Rmx) 23:34, 10 March 2007 (EST)

No, I programmed the template to use Template:PositionMap and if you type in the respective code for the map you want to use it automatically includes the template, however, you must also use the "geolat=" (latitude) and "geolong=" (longitude) parameters, or else you don't get a map. Essentially, you need to copy and paste everything we've provided to pt: and it should work, if not I'll come by and fix it.
The other thing to mention is that we have to program the Template:PositionMap to use maps and we have to upload the right maps to use. The problem is finding maps. We can create maps from a U.S. Gov agency, but they don't look very nice. I've figured out how to program the template by watching Phil, but it's a little difficult to explain so if there's a map you need we can upload it and either of us will program it. -- Sapphire(Talk) • 03:10, 11 March 2007 (EDT)
