What happens[edit]

When you upload an image greater than 100Kb in size, you get a warning message.

When it happens[edit]

What should happen[edit]

You shouldn't get a warning for images less than 8Mb in size.

How to fix it[edit]

Not sure. --Evan 11:43, 11 January 2007 (EST)

OK, I found it. I upped the limit from 150Kb to 4Mb, which I think is enough to handle our recommended max pixel size for JPG compression. I'd like to leave a warning it at 4Mb, though, since we have a hard limit of 8Mb in PHP, so it's just courteous to warn people when they're getting close to that. I'm pretty sure if we get much higher that 8Mb uploads, software farther up the stack (browser, Web server) is going to time out. Lemme know if this is OK. --Evan 12:12, 11 January 2007 (EST)
This seems to be fixed. --Evan 11:01, 26 February 2007 (EST)
