Wojkowice (Voy-koh-vee-tzah) is a small town near Będzin in Silesian Voivodeship.

  • Assumption church (Sobieski street 388). Modernist church with beautiful interior, located in Żychcice district.
  • St.Anthony's church (Długosz street 2). Church built in historical style in 1929. The most remarkable city's landmark
  • Jaworznik stream. A great nature and beautiful landscapes
  • Wielonak stream. A beautiful stream in Łęg district
  • Brynica River. A historical border between Zagłębie region and Upper Silesia. Place with lovely landscapes and nature.
  • Głowacki street chapel. Lovely chapel built in 1900 in neogothic style.

City park is a great place to relax. There're many walking path around Wielonak and Jaworznik stream. These streams as well as Brynica river are good place to rest on or go fishing.

Wojkowice is a very safe city. As in many smaller citties people are very helpful and hospitable. Swimming in any water streams or rivers is forbidden.
